The Comets women's basketball team is a dedicated and passionate group of athletes and coaches who strive to excel both on and off the court. Your generous support will help us cover the costs of equipment, travel, nutrition, training, and scholarships, and will allow us to compete at the highest level to reach our goals. By contributing, you're not just supporting a team financially, but you're also empowering a community of strong, driven women to pursue their dreams. All members of the Mayville State Hoops Club will receive the Comet Connection newsletter each month, keeping you connected to the exciting journey of our team.
Kids in grades 3 through 6 are invited to participate. Campers will be on the field doing drills with Comets Football coaching staff. Campers will need to wear shorts and football shoes. Helmets or shoulder pads are not needed. Campers will be put into groups based on grade. Snacks and water will be provided, and participants will receive a T-shirt at the end of camp.
High School Session (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) - Junior High Session (1 to 3 p.m.)
Specifics
- Open to all girls and boys in grades 6-12
- Athletes will focus on essential skills such as serving, passing, setting, attacking, and blocking/defense. Camp consists of competitive drills, scrimmages, and one-on-one coaching from Mayville State coaches and athletes. There will not be overnight housing options available on campus.
