Help support a scholarship endowment to support future student leaders at Mayville State University!

Honor a veteran with your gift to the Veterans Scholarship Fund. A gift of $500 will entitle the donor to a plaque engraved with the name, branch, and year(s) of service for the veteran you wish to honor. Your gift will also help maintain the Mayville State Military Honor Garden. Gifts of any size are welcome.

The Jerome and Shirley Berg scholarship endowment was established in 1981 by Jerome (‘51) and Shirley Berg (’50), longtime supporters of Mayville State. Jerome was a four-sport athlete at Mayville. He coached the Comet football team from 1955-1967, and he and his teams won six conference championships. The scholarship celebrates and rewards the qualities of leadership, teamwork, and work ethic, which were valued by Jerome and Shirley, and promoted both on and off the field.

On Thursday, April 30, 2026, we ask all Mayville State alumni and friends to share their love for Mayville State and pay forward their gratitude for the university. In doing so, you’ll be giving others the opportunity to enjoy the Mayville State Experience. Gifts will support the Mayville State Honor Scholarship Fund. This fund is the driving force behind Mayville State’s enrollment. Honor Scholarships help to attract the Comets of tomorrow.
